Children's Ministry

We believe that all children are made in the image of God and can be leaders. Children are often overlooked or pushed aside, but at Ridgewood Park, we take Christ's words seriously when he said, "Unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 18:3) Therefore, we endeavor to place children high on our priority list, not only to care for them and make church fun, but to learn from their leadership. Read more about our various children's ministries below.

Nursery

(9:30am – 12:00pm)

During Sunday School and worship, this is a place where your younger kids can go and be loved by our nursery staff. 

CHoir & Sunday School

(9:30am - 10:30am)

The first 20 minutes of our Sunday School hour is when our Children's Choir rehearses. Following choir, We have several different Elementary age classes.

Church for us

K-5th grade students are invited to worship with the whole congregation, then head out mid-service for a time designed for children. They will create community, learn about the stories of our faith and explore different ways of listening to what God is saying to them in scripture each week.

VBS

Every Summer we put on a big Vacation Bible School program where your children can come to learn, laugh, and make tons of new friends! We love the summer time and work to give your kids fun things to do while they're on break.
