Simplified Accountable Structure (SAS)

Over the past year we've been discussing the simplification of our church committees by considering the adoption of the Simplified Accountable Structure (SAS). In short, this replaces our four administrative committees (Admin Council, SPRC, Finance, and Trustees) with one, simplified Leadership Board. In September, the Administrative Council voted to call a Church Conference to adopt this new structure, but delayed that conference until we could finalize all of our guiding documents.

Below you will find those guiding documents, the list of who's been nominated to serve on this inaugural Leadership Board, and details about Q&A sessions we will have before the Church Conference vote on April 6th.

Timeline:

Sunday, March 23rd @3pm - Q&A ZOOM call

Wednesday, March 26th - Q&A during WNL dinner

Sunday, March 30th - Q&A during Sunday School (Sanctuary)

Wednesday, April 2nd - Q&A during WNL dinner

Sunday, April 6th - Church Conference vote to adopt the SAS (right after worship)

Below you will find a graphic representation of our current committee structure, and then the proposed SAS model. We hope this illustrates the way that the SAS model keeps most things the same, and simplifies the four primary committees.
